Marketing Ideas in Public Libraries

The January/February 2009 issue of Public Libraries had two marketing related articles with cool ideas:

Rock-n-Roll Libraries: Marketing through Music Concerts and Festivals – talks about partnering and taking your message to the people, especially the younger generation.

The Perspectives offers a variety of viewpoints on Extraordinary Outreach. One of the contributers is Dawn Bussey from Glen Ellyn, IL. She generously gave us permission to reprint her Perspective. Look for parts 1 and 2 later this week.
