Chicago Public Library’s New Marketing Campaign

as reported in the January Library Journal “Chicago Public Library’s new marketing campaign aimed at single, childless adults aged 25-35, who are underrepresented at its libaries. Their tagline is “Not What You Think.” The outreach effort began in Nov. 28 with print, transit and online banner advertising and this year will include viral video and experiential marketing strategies. It is funded by the CPL Foundation.”
